I remember Zayre. I also remember "Rich's," which I recall was a similar type of department store. At Rich's, you had to pay a dime to use the bathroom. I'm fairly certain that when I was a kid, I wet myself while trying to shove the damn dime in the freaking machine that opened the door.
I hated Rich's.
It went out of business.
Anyway, my real point is that I love your blog. Keep up the good work.

up and down the main aisle, weaving in and out of the racks, and sloging through the hangers like a vehicle in a car wash. He was having a great time!
Pretty soon, I'll get to do it (again) with my darling step-grandaughter.....
